Allie Shea is a freshman at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio, majoring in Linguistics and Psychology. She is currently working on a psychology-based research project centered around Intercultural Competence in higher education (at university level). Allie enjoys involvement in community service projects and has performed over 500 hours of service during her high school career. Service projects have included: homeless shelters, the Ronald McDonald House, church youth groups, senior centers and Meals-on-Wheels. Allie was born in Stavropol City, Russia in 1994 and immigrated to the US when she was 6 months old. Her love for the written and spoken language has inspired her to create a place for bloggers to share ideas, interests and comments with others.
